The start of this week has marked an incredible end to an incredible year - that is one year since Atlas Mapping publicly launched.
Yesterday, both Atlas Mapping and the bfa announced our new brand partnership. Brand Partnership was awarded to Atlas Mapping in recognition of our successes in, and support for, the UK’s franchise industry. My team and I are incredibly passionate about ethical franchising and work tirelessly to educate our market in best practices for territory design and store positioning. The brand partnership will give us further reach and allow us to develop very real benefits to franchisors that wish to succeed.
We could, however, have not achieved this if it was not for our supporters for which I have a few words below.
Firstly, to all of our customers. Without the faith of every one of you placed in my team and I - a relatively brand new company - to deliver the best solution, we would not be where we are today. Thank you for your support and your business and I look forward to returning that support to you over the coming years.
Secondly, thank you to all industry suppliers that have supported us and helped to get the word out regarding our leading solutions. I look forward to continuing to work with you into the future.
Thirdly, I’d like to thank the bfa. Just as we recognise your achievements to ethical franchising, thank you for recognising our devotion to promoting the same message through our field - geographic mapping. With your support, we can better reach franchisors and franchisees to educate them on the benefits to be had from the newest technologies and methods. This will help to eliminate common issues caused by bad practices, increase their growth and ultimately boost the industry’s success.
I must of course not forget my colleagues, Stuart Lee and Ash Mills. Over the last year, your ideas, dedication, hard work and late nights have been greatly appreciated, and without them, we would not be in this position today. Thank you for supporting me through Atlas Mapping’s earliest days. Thank you also to Simon Youngs, your input in our earliest days was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. I wish you every success in your own business.
And last, but never least, thank you to my fiancé Sam and daughter Holly for putting up with my constant excitement for the franchise market and the benefits brought to it through Atlas Mapping’s solutions - in addition to all of the late nights our success has demanded.
My best wishes and heartfelt thanks to you all.
