To coincide with our 2026.06 update, we're making some pretty big changes to how subscriptions work in Vision. Let us talk you through them.
We’re doing away with the older, restrictive packages, such as Solo User, Small Teams, and Large Teams, and replacing them with newer packages better designed to support businesses as they grow. Say hello to Free, Lite, and Pro!
Yep, you read that right (and the rhyme was intentional)! We’re excited to now offer a Free package designed to support businesses at their earliest stages of growth. It provides access to almost all of Vision’s features but places limits on how much you can do with them.
We then have Lite, which replaces our old Solo User package. Lite was designed with single users in mind, for businesses that are starting to grow and need to do more. You get access to all features except territory checker, with substantially increased limits compared to the free package.
And then we have Pro. Designed with growing teams in mind, Pro gives you access to all features and is only limited by what you need.
One of the biggest issues with our older packages was the lack of upgrade pathways. The best example of this was that you had only the choices of 1, 5, or 20 users.
Our new add-on packages allow you to expand your Pro subscription exactly how you need. Need more than 2 users? Have as many as you need for just 16 GBP (25 USD) per month each. Need to plot more than 10,000 pins on the map? That’s just 10 GBP (16 USD) per month for an additional 10,000.
Other options include API credits, Find Your Nearest (FYN) credits, and Automated Territory Checks.
As we’re migrating everyone to the new subscription packages, we want to first make it clear that there will be NO increases in what you are charged for your current subscription.
While we have identified that some clients’ prices will increase, a discount equal to any increase will be applied while your subscription is active. You’ll only pay the higher amount if you cancel your subscription and later try to restart it. For any clients whose subscriptions have decreased, we’ll be in contact in due course to let you know about the new reduced subscription charges.
As feature limits have changed with the new packages, we will ensure you have the right subscription for what you are currently using in Vision by assigning additional add-on packages as necessary.
Some customers will notice that they now have access to features that they didn’t have before the update. This is completely intentional, so enjoy using those features!
To help make this a little easier to understand, we’ve included some examples below.
Example 1: A client on a solo user subscription. They will be moved on to Lite and gain access to hand-drawn and zone features with a limit of 100 areas.
Example 2: A client on small teams has 2 active users and 6,000 imported locations. They will be moved to Pro, which includes 2 users and 10,000 locations.
Example 3: A client on large teams has 13 active users and 105,000 imported locations. They will be moved to Pro, which includes 2 users and 10,000 locations. They will then be assigned 11 additional user packs (taking their allowance to 13) and 10 additional location packs (taking their new allowance to 110,000).
Following the update, your new subscription packages will be viewable from the Subscriptions section within Organisation Admin.
You’ll notice that data subscriptions now show separately from your core subscription package. This is part of a wider update to further improve subscription flexibility, as we look to launch our data marketplace in a future update to be released soon. More on that later this year!
We’ve also made it much clearer whether you’re subscribed monthly or annually, and when your subscriptions renew or end.
