We are excited to announce that we’re already working on releasing the full suite of census data for the UK. We’ve had the latest census data for England and Wales since June 2023 but not for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Both countries' censuses were delayed due to the impacts of Covid. However, as of October 3rd, Scotland released the final part of their census data, on which we began working immediately.
We aim to have this all processed and ready for our Postcode-based clients on November 4th, 2024. Clients using Administrative geographies, such as Output Areas, Wards, and Local Authority and Unitary Districts, are expected to have access to this update in early Q1 next year. This is because updating those geographies to the latest versions is more complex and requires our help to manage those updates.
Our fantastic customer support team will be on hand to help our clients navigate the update process. Additionally, support documents, videos, and products will be available, as with the previous release for England and Wales.
