This week, we released our first European-mainland data pack for Spain.

Our Spanish subscription pack brings over 140 demographics made available at five levels of administrative geography, ranging from the granular Census Sections to the Autonomous Communities. This data comes straight from the Spanish Statistics Institute (Instituto de Nacional Estadistica).

The boundaries available (from least granular to most granular) are:

  • Autonomous Communities (19 areas)
  • Provinces (52 areas)
  • Municipalities (8,116 areas)
  • Census Districts (10,514 areas which represent municipalities or break up the larger city municipalities)
  • Census Sections (35,958 areas)

Spain is the first country in a long line of releases we've planned for 2018. If you can't find what you need, please get in touch and we may be able to provide more information ahead of release.
