As you can see there’s a remarkable level of coverage, with almost every city, town, village and local community having their own or a number of different fish and chip shops to choose from. In the main, the number of fish and chip shops increases in line with the population so major cities and towns contain more outlets. In addition, the map also shows that high concentrations can also be found in coastal towns which vary quite dramatically in size but they generate a significant amount of tourism.
