The Client
Filta is a leading provider of commercial kitchen services across North America and Europe. With hundreds of franchisees and growing demand, they needed a better way to manage territories, sync customer data, and reduce the time spent on manual updates.


Challenge
Before switching to Vision, Filta USA faced significant challenges with their previous territory management solution. Every territory update or amendment required external assistance, leading to delays and extra costs. The system lacked flexibility and user-friendliness, making it difficult for Filta to manage their territories efficiently. They also needed a cost effective solution that didn’t compromise on quality or support, and they wanted better user access and control over their data.

Solution
Filta’s migration began with importing and cleaning their custom KMZ territory files into Vision, tagging each area with the right classification, sold, resale, or available. From there, we built out the core layers for franchisees, customers, and territories, ensuring everything lined up with how their internal team already operated.
To support smarter planning, Vision provided Filta with business-level data like SIC codes and counts of target businesses, giving them visibility into the opportunity available all the way down to each ZIP. This fed directly into their territory planning, helping them assess potential, validate performance, and guide sales conversations with new franchisees.
We then worked closely with Filta’s internal ops team and their developers to define integration between Vision and Symphony using Vision API. The integration added a more seamless approach to manage customer and job allocations to franchisee.
With Vision as the source of truth for territory boundaries, Filta could manage their hand-drawn territories more precisely, ensuring ZIPs were accurately assigned, making reporting consistent and service areas clear across both Vision and Symphony.
In conclusion, Filta gained a fully integrated system that matches how they operate and given them the freedom to manage their territories independently. They no depend on their supplier when ever they needed to make amendments to their territories and now have a mapping partner in Atlas Mapping helping them advance their growth.
Results
Filta experienced a smooth migration to Vision, allowing them to take immediate control of their territory management. They no longer need to rely on external support for updates, saving time and reducing costs.
With Vision’s user-friendly interface, Filta could create custom boundaries and use detailed location pins to map their customer data precisely. This flexibility enabled them to adapt quickly to changing needs.
Integration with their CRM via the Vision API ensured a streamlined flow of data, enhancing overall operational efficiency and decision-making.
